- In Person - Donations may be brought to any of our monthly meetings or special events.
Memorial & Honorary Donations
You can make a gift in memory of a loved one, past Society member, local historian, or anyone whose life and work you wish to celebrate. Memorial and honorary donations are a meaningful way to pay tribute while supporting our mission. When making your gift, please include:
- The name of the person you are honoring or memorializing
- Whether you would like us to notify their family (and contact details if applicable)
- Any special instructions for recognition in our publications or at meetings
The name of the person honored or memorialized will be recognized in our Society newsletter and may also be announced at a monthly meeting, unless you request otherwise.
Our Nonprofit Status
The Amarillo Genealogical Society is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt charitable organization under IRS designation 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). This means your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor for details regarding your specific situation.
